You will take part in design and development of best-in-class UI framework for Java ME.

The team is supporting and enhancing Java ME graphics framework and UI APIs, working closely with JCP specifications as well as with real applications and market requirements, bringing smartphones' rich UI experience to the mass market of feature phones.

• Take part in design and development of best-in-class UI framework for Java ME.
• Identify real market/application needs and contribute to fill the gaps in the specifications.
• Generate ideas for further evolution of Java ME UI and graphics.

Minimal Requirements:

• BSC in Computer Science.
• 2~15 years of experience in software development.
• Understanding of embedded software development specifics.
• Design and implementation skills in C or C++.
• Understanding of technical specs in English.
• Energy for innovation.
• Self-motivation to grow-up and share a technical expertise, together with the team, along with a product development.
• Flexible, agile approach for technical decisions making, ability to understand and take alternative ideas.
  

Additional/advanced requirements:

• Professional experience in embedded software development.
• Design and implementation skills in Java.
• Knowledge of Java ME (CLDC, MIDP, optional JSRs).
• Knowledge of UI toolkits and 2d and 3d graphics technologies (OpenGL, OpenVG etc) is highly desired
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
